Man’s first steps on the moon took place on July 20th, 1969. That same year, Amedeo Fabbri of Rimini, Italy decided to take one small step as a man to commemorate the United States for this “giant leap for mankind.” He opened up Luna Caffetteria, which translates to Moon Cafeteria. 

In 2018, Amedeo Fabbri’s son, Stefano, and the Proto family from Ravello, Italy, the Motherland of Limoncello, opened the very first Luna Gelateria & Caffetteria in Scottsdale, Arizona. Almost 40 years later, the legacy of Luna Caffetteria lives on.
